For a number of years, I’ve experimented with electronics in live performance with my guitar; particularly delays, loops and multi-tracking as well as other effects. While de rigueur for electric guitarists, rock bands and others, for a classical guitarist it has created opportunities to explore sounds, textures, layers and rhythms that would not normally be possible on a solo classical guitar.
The pieces on this album represent some of my favourite electronic music that I’ve performed on the SoloEtte “silent” guitar around the world over the past 20 years or so.
